Mystery

There is a well-worn phrase which says ‘god works in mysterious ways’. But so do we.

You want a better world and imagine it. It awaits if you’re willing to work to create it.

You can even forget what you’re doing, you can lose your way. Forget where you’ve been.

Finally, you’ve created a world, maybe’s not exactly what you’d hoped for and, maybe you didn’t work it the right way. It’s a bit of a mystery how it all worked out.

But, what exactly, would differentiate the trajectory of all the centuries of human history from Stone Age to Space Age, between the work of so-called believers and nonbelievers?

Our will or, god’s will or, a combination of both, what’s the difference?

I believe god is helping me to create a better world and you don’t. We’re doing the same or similar work. Should we work together to a common good or should we fight over beliefs?

Take it higher. You want to climb a mountain, build a spaceship, create a floating city.

I want to sleep in the sand on a tropical isle. You want to surf the endless ocean wave and walk on the moon.

I wish to travel to distant galaxies and both of us want to picnic in the park with family and friends.

In short, you and I, we want it all and we’re each willing to work to have it all.

“Truly I say unto you” lol, you and I just want a slice of “heaven”, a vacation in “paradise”.

Ahh…yes..

Where in heck did we imagine “heaven” and “paradise”?
